About Sustain Sakura

Sustain Sakura is a young company founded with the objective of serving and supporting businesses who seek compliance to various standards within the Environmental Social Governance (ESG) domain. Sustain Sakura is the brainchild of two female founders who are ambitious to support various industries, thereby elevating their brand value in local and global markets.

The founders drew inspiration for the name from the Indian-origin flower (native to Himalayas) and Japanese “Sakura” or Cherry Blossom in English which symbolizes “time for renewal” of environment around us, considering the transient nature of life. In other words, if Sakura is to sustain and bloom, we need to protect the planet from all sorts of potential damages and that brings us to the limelight in the ESG domain. Currently, our primary focus is to provide Procurement and HSE services. which are essential, major and complex parts of any business, in order to achieve compliance to relevant standards

It incorporates human health and environmental concerns into the identification of supply sources for high quality products and services at competitive prices at a global level..

Net Zero Initiatives

Net Zero or Carbon neutrality implies cutting greenhouse gas emissions to as close to zero as possible, with any remaining emissions re-absorbed by industries, atmosphere, oceans and forests. Achieving a balance between the carbon emitted into the atmosphere, and the carbon removed from it will happen when the amount of carbon we add to the atmosphere is no more than the amount removed. In short, a country's emissions are compensated by the absorption and removal of greenhouse gases from the atmosphere..

UN has listed 30 environmental impact indicators or targets to work on directly, the rest being with other agencies. The targets are quite dynamic and would be revised based on technological and other developments..

Peace

Peace in general, can describe calmness, serenity, and silence. Peace, as SDG#16 is about promoting peaceful and inclusive societies, providing access to justice for all and building effective, accountable and inclusive institutions at all levels..

Prosperity
